Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how Peak Tennis International (“PTI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) processes, ships, and delivers orders placed via our website, https://www.peaktennisinternational.com (“the Site”). It complies with applicable laws of Switzerland and the European Union, including the Swiss Code of Obligations and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

 

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Shipping Coverage and Carriers

We currently ship our products to customers worldwide, subject to shipping availability and local customs regulations. Orders are shipped from Switzerland using reputable national and international courier services such as Swiss Post, DHL, UPS, or FedEx.

2. Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving full payment and order confirmation.

  • During high-volume periods (e.g., holiday seasons, product launches), processing times may be extended. Customers will be notified accordingly.

3. Shipping Times and Delivery Estimates

Delivery times vary by destination and shipping method:

 

  • Switzerland: 4–6 business days

  • EU countries: 6–8 business days

  • Rest of the world: 12–18 business days

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

 

  • Delivery location

  • Package weight and size

  • Chosen shipping method

  • All applicable shipping fees will be displayed before the customer completes the order.

 

Note: PTI does not charge VAT on international shipments, but import duties, customs fees, and taxes (if any) are the recipient's responsibility. PTI is not liable for these charges and cannot predict their amount.

5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

When ordering from outside Switzerland or the EU:

 

  • You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

  • Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for information.

  • Any additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient.

 

Failure to pay customs charges may result in the package being held or returned. PTI does not refund shipping charges in such cases.

6. Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation containing:

 

  • A tracking number

  • The name of the shipping carrier

  • An estimated delivery date (if available)

 

Tracking services are offered where available. PTI is not responsible for delays, loss, or inaccuracies caused by third-party tracking platforms.

7. Failed Deliveries and Return-to-Sender

If a package is:

 

  • Undeliverable due to incorrect address details provided by the customer

  • Refused at delivery

  • Not collected from the post office or customs in time

…it will be returned to PTI. In such cases:

 

  • We will contact you to arrange re-shipment

  • Additional shipping charges will apply

  • Original shipping costs will not be refunded

8. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please:

 

  • Notify us in writing at admin@peaktennisinternational.com within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos of the packaging and item(s)

We will assess the case and may issue a replacement or refund at our discretion. All claims must be submitted by the recipient.

 

If a shipment is lost in transit, we will coordinate with the courier to investigate. Once confirmed as lost, we will offer a replacement or full refund.

 

Please note: PTI is not liable for damage or loss resulting from:

 

  • Delays caused by courier companies or customs inspections

  • Natural disasters or force majeure events

  • Packages stolen after confirmed delivery

9. Delivery Acceptance and Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the goods are delivered to the address provided during checkout or collected by the customer or an agent.

 

If you authorise delivery without a signature (e.g., drop-off at the door), PTI and the courier assume no responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

10. Modifications and Cancellations

If a package is:

 

  • Undeliverable due to incorrect address details provided by the customer

  • Refused at delivery

  • Not collected from the post office or customs in time

…it will be returned to PTI. In such cases:

 

  • We will contact you to arrange re-shipment

  • Additional shipping charges will apply

  • Original shipping costs will not be refunded

11. Legal Compliance and Limitation of Liability

This Shipping Policy complies with the relevant laws and consumer protections under:

 

  • The Swiss Code of Obligations (Obligationenrecht, OR)

  • The EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU)

  • Any mandatory local consumer protection laws that apply to the customer

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PTI disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to shipping delays, loss, customs issues, or misdelivery.
